the element of art- tone

Tone:
I think tone refers to the degree of lightness or darkness of an area. Tone varies from the bright white of a light source through shades of gray to the deepest black shadows. Tone is a very important element of art to me as i love blending colours and experimenting colours.

Texture:
Texture is something that you can feel and touch. It can be smooth hard soft rough anything that can be felt. texture can also be the feel of paint that is hard.

MY REFLECTION IN ART

In Art we have been doing many different paintings. One of the paintings which i have been most pleased about is where we painted a picture of a fruit and put lots of dots on it to make the fruit stand and other reasons! There was three different types of colours of the dot paints which were white, black and skin colour. I was pleased with this painting because i liked the fruit that i was doing which was passion fruit and i loved using the dot paint!

Colour:

Colour has three main characteristics: Colours can be described as warm (red, yellow, orange) or cool (blue, purple, green). To me colour is all about experimenting and having a good time, in paintings and drawing on canvases or paper.

The Elements Of Art - line

Line:

Is one-dimensional and can vary in width, direction, and length. line to me is a beautifull way of expressing your feelings and thoughts onto a peice of paper.

The Elements Of Art - shape

Shape:

Is an enclosed space defined by other elements of art. Shapes may take on the appearance of two-d or three-d objects. Also shape has only height and width.
